Venezuela Earthquake Emergency

Two major earthquakes have struck Venezuela, compounding an already severe humanitarian crisis.

Hundreds of deaths and injuries have already been reported, tens of thousands of people are missing, and numbers are expected to rise. The search for survivors continues amidst severe infrastructure damage and disruption to basic services.

The recent earthquakes have worsened an already severe humanitarian crisis, deepening the hardship for thousands of people where nearly 7.9 million people were already in need of assistance.

Oxfam is working with local partners to deliver water and sanitation, food security, protection and psychosocial support.
